All lights are rented complete with barndoors, scrims, stand and extra head feeder cable. HMI lights are rented with two head feeder cables.
Lights, cable and grip equipment are rented on a 3-day week; generators, dollies, cranes and production truck grip packages are rented on a 4-day week.
Delivery is offered on the island of Oahu during normal business hours. Renter is responsible for all freight and handling charges for inter-island shipping.
Contract Terms
Title and ownership of all equipment rented remains the sole property of Hawaii Media Inc.
All equipment is rented in good condition and is to be returned in good condition, with the exception of normal wear and tear. Any repair work necessary shall be paid by the renter. If the unit is lost, damaged or damaged beyond repair, the renter shall be charged full list price for repair or replacement plus any applicable shipping costs. Rental costs will not be deducted from replacement costs.
Renter agrees to admit the equipment owner or his agent to the premises upon which the equipment is kept for the purpose of checking the condition of rental equipment and for the purpose of repossessing the equipment in the event the renter is in default of any item of the rental contract.
Renter agrees not to release or re-deliver said equipment to any other, person, firm,
or corporation without the written consent of Hawaii Media Inc.
Renter agrees to make payment-in-full within 30 days, with a 1.5% service charge per month on all
accounts over 30 days.
Insurance Requirements
Renter shall provide his own insurance to cover full value of the equipment rented, for any and all loss,
damage, or liability which may occur.
A certificate of insurance is required, naming Hawaii Media Inc. as additional insured and as loss payee
before equipment can be released. A minimum of $1,000,000.00 combined single limits, bodily injury, and
property damage is to be maintained for the term of this rental.
For vehicles and generators, the renter agrees to provide auto, bodily injury, and property damage insurance,
with no less than $1,000,000.00 combined single limits.
Renter agrees to provide physical damage (comprehensive and collision) coverage on a blanket basis to any
vehicles that Hawaii Media Inc. may provide to the renter, with a limit of not less than $125,000.00.
